One way to use indoor lighting I am using is take the solar lawn lights and reconfig them.
I took mine from big lots 2 for 10Buck great deal. 3 LED light by a solar cell and a AA Batt.
I took apart took old PC mouse cut the cable and soldered to to put the cell in my window and light on top of my curtain rod just hanging there. Day light goes away the light powers on and WALA I got a free night light. Not enough to read off of unless you put right at source but, plenty of light to see everything in room.
